John Glenn Mercury Globe

In September of 2019, we stopped at the John and Annie Glenn Museum in New Concord, Ohio. During our visit, we took a tour of John Glenn's childhood home. There were many artifacts within the museum that belong to John and Annie Glenn, but this one item was pretty impressive to us. It is a globe that John took red tape and placed on it for his children. It was marking his orbit path so that they could follow along withe the reports as they came in and they knew exactly where he was while in orbit.
