Aaron Burr Death Mask

Located at the Blennerhassett Museum of Regional History is a copy of a copy of the original Aaron Burr death mask that is located at Princeton University. Aaron Burr's mask was cast onSeptember 14, 1836, the day he died at Winant's Hotel on Saten Island, New York. The death mask maker hung around the hotel for weeks waiting for the old man (Burr was 80 years old) to pass away.
