Earnest Hemingway's Urinal

Now a watering fountain for the many cats that live on Hemingway's property, this item was a formal urinal at Sloppy Joe's bar in Key West. When the bar was moving in 1937/1938, the urinal ended up at Hemingway’s house. Hemingway said that he already paid for the urinal by using it so often, or he might have taken it back to the house to spite his wife, saying it was essentially the same as her $20K swimming pool that she had installed.
